Paris Orly Airport initiated a project targeting to organize the future air traffic in the best possible way.

The air navigation management (Direction des Services de la Navigation Aérienne) took the decision to build a new tower, where the new technical radar system will be located at the top of the tower. The tower is a precast structure. It will have 12 levels each level having 28 precast columns. There were 7 different column types used in the structure. The column connections were made with Peikko’s ETA approved bolted column connection: HPKM® Column Shoes and HPM® Anchor Bolts.
